I am an early-career scientist working with pressure-driven (micro-, ultra- and nanofiltration) membranes and reactive (adsorptive and photocatalytic) membranes for water treatment.
Through careful design of experiments, I investigate the fundamental physiochemical interactions both at the membrane surface and inside the membrane pores. My aim is to reveal how material nanostructure, mass transfer, and reactivity affect one another in membrane processes.
My research contributes to the mechanistic understanding of the membranes for removing pollutants, namely, steroid hormones, pesticides, and nanoplastics, that are toxic at very low concentrations in the water sources.
For a more detailed explanation of my researches, please refer to the Research section.
Outside research, I play football, go hiking, sketch, and read sci-fi books. I am father to a son born in June 2025.
